In our war to end poverty, we vowed that for every soup we sold, we would give another to a person in need, via a soup kitchen.
We’ve been at Winchmore Hill’s The Sidings Market since December, and have been lucky enough to sell enough soup to make our first sizeable donation to Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen, one of our partners.
This first donation — just over 20 litres of our Creamy Coconut Dal Soup — will hopefully be the first of many as we continue on our voyage to feed all those who go hungry. Thank you to everybody who supported Integritty Foods by buying a soup or meal at Sidings Market, and we hope to serve more of you in the future.
Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen is run by Martin Stone, recipient of a Points of Light award by Theresa May for his activities with Next Meal — a project using GPS to inform people in need where the nearest place offering food is. We’re very proud to be able to assist MHSK by donating soup as part of our promise to give a meal to a person in need for every meal we sell.
We will be at Winchmore Hill’s The Sidings N21 Market every Sunday, so if you are interested in trying some of our delicious, fresh soups and vegan hotpots, feel free to come along. There’s free samples, too!
